Michael Janisch and Ernesto Simpson are world class musicians currently touring in Slovenia. Now you can take full advantage of their combined knowledge in this interactive musician skills development session. This is an extremely rare chance to pick up valuable tips, technique and knowledge directly from two hard working, highly qualified, dedicated music professionals.

Entry is OPEN to all levels, all instruments. So whether you’re basic, intermediate or advanced, you’ll get tremendous insight from this session. Bring your instrument, play, or just listen and learn (and take lots of notes)! We also welcome non-musicians, who’d like to see ‘behind the scenes’. This experience will have a hugely beneficial effect on understanding music and how it’s made.

Michael and Ernesto have done many Master Classes around the world, and it’s not a fixed format. The content will be varied in response to the skills and desires of those attending. ASK for what you’d like and during the coaching session! There will be discussion, debate and practical sessions on:

• Live playing with the group members/ constructive feedback
• Instrument Skills and Demonstration
• How to play Jazz, Funk, Swing Grooves (simple and advanced)
• Playing in a band, Singer’s Confidence, Time Keeping

Come in and advance your skill levels using these far-traveled experts. Michael and Ernesto are also offering PRIVATE LESSONS.

At the end of the masterclass it is possible to have a private 45 min lesson for bass. Michael will  only take 3 students, so hurry!

Five musicians of these marvoulus ensemble gathered together for a musical collaboration. Three of them are european young lions, already reputated by their work. One is an american „monster“ musician and one cuban „hot shot“. Ernesto and Mike are the rhythmic roots of this group, providing hard drive and sophisticated spheres at the same time. Pablo is adding perfect sound to the rhythm and opening up harmonically for the horns. Bastian and Jure are a perfect match in a sence of phrasing, blending and upgrading eachother sounds and ideas! Music is all original, innovative contemporary jazz and it mixes influences from the roots and origin of every band members, meaning from Slavic virtuosity, New York hard swing grooves, to Cuban rhythms and european freedom!

ERNESTO SIMPSON was born in Cuba, has lived in New York and recently moved to London.He worked with heavy duty names like Herbie Hancock, Richard Bona, Dizzy Gillespie, Gonzalo Rubalcaba and Mike Brecker. 
MIKE JANISCH is a US native living in UK for 4 years and works with musicians like: Joe Lovano, Lee Konitz, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Jeff Ballard, Mike Moreno, Joel Frahm etc.! He also leads his own succesfull ensemble.
PABLO HELD is the youngest from this bend having a big career in front of him. He won numerous competitions and leads his own Pablo Held Trio whith whom he performs all over europe and elsewhere. 
BASTIAN STEIN was born in Germany but lives in Vienna now. He won a Hans Koller preis and works with musicians like Andy Middleton, Rob Bargard, Joris Dudli, Fritz Pauer….He just released his second album on a german label Suuny Moon. 
JURE PUKL lived in USA for years and just moved back to Europe. He worked with musicians from like Maceo Parker and Esperanza Spalding to Aaron Goldberg, Johnathan Blake, Francisco Mela, Marcus Gilmore, Renato Chicco. He just released his 5th critically acclaimed album EARchitecture.
